Mma Asana is a native of Sagnarigu but currently residing in Kanvilli a suburb of Tamale North. She has four kids. Zulkarnain and Fatima are the little ones among her 4 kids. She was six months pregnant when she lost her husband. Zulkarnain was 3 years as at then.

Two months after the said incident, Mma Asana had a Ceasarean Section as a result of complications she developed caused by the sad incident (her husband’s death). She gave birth to a bouncing baby girl who was named Fatima.

Alhamdullilah, today Fatima is 7 months and her elder brother (Zulkarnain) is 4 years. Zulkarnaian is about to start school and admission has been sought for him at Kanvilli R/C School complex (KG1 to be precise).

Mma Asana applied to Al Yataama Care Foundation seeking for support to enable her cater for Zulkarnain’s school. The total amount needed to complete the admission process is GH¢ 300.

The team paid Mma Asana a visit and a cash donation of GH¢ 300 was given to her to enable her pay the admission fee.

There are 1000 and 1 orphans like Zulkarnain who need our support. The little you give will go a long way to help other vulnerable orphans actualize their dreams. May our pockets be blessed and our hearts be strengthen to partake in life changing projects of this nature.
